Money Smart Kids
Money Smart Kids
Details
Most kids grow up without ever being taught how money actually works — not because parents don't want to teach it, but because it's genuinely hard to know where to start. Money Smart Kids does the work for you.
Written directly to kids ages 8–12, this interactive guide walks through the real basics: the difference between needs and wants, how saving actually works, how to pause before an impulse buy, and how to build a simple "Save, Spend, Give" money plan — all in a voice that respects kids instead of talking down to them.
Every chapter includes a real activity: quizzes, fill-in worksheets, a savings tracker, and 10+ real-life money scenarios kids can think through (with no single "correct" answer forced on them). It closes with a full bonus activity pack and a printable "Money Smart Kid" certificate.
No investing advice. No credit cards, crypto, or grown-up financial products. Just the honest foundations, at a kid's level, meant to be worked through together.
A companion to our bestselling Big Kid Skills — while that book builds broad life skills, this one goes deep on money.
