The Homework Reset
The Homework Reset
Details
You know the scene: your kid gets home, says "I'll do it later," and somehow it's 8pm and the homework that was supposed to take twenty minutes has turned into a nightly standoff.
The Homework Reset breaks that cycle — not with more nagging, but with a system your kid can actually run themselves. Written directly to kids ages 8–12, it teaches them how to capture what's actually due, decide what comes first, break big projects into small steps, and start even when starting feels like the hardest part.
Every chapter includes a real activity: a reusable homework tracker, a 5-Minute Start card for beating procrastination, a "Distraction Parking Lot" for wandering thoughts, and 10 real-life scenarios with no forced right answer. It all comes together in the 10-step Homework Reset system — simple enough to print and keep at their desk.
No shame, no "just focus harder." Just a workable plan for handling schoolwork like a kid who's got this.
Pairs naturally with The Confidence Reset for Kids and Big Kid Skills.
